Unity Hospital is a renowned Multi Super speciality Hospital at Kunnamkulam established in the year 1983 with advanced medical facilities rendering dedicated medical care to the patients with a vision of "To be a role model of excellence for the provision of healthcare and wellness services". Unity provides state of the art facilities and infrastructure and is steered by a team of competent and experienced doctors, paramedical and other staff who are inspired and motivated by management's emphasis on "Caring Lives".

Since we first opened our doors in 1983, my vision has remained steadfast : To create a sanctuary of healing where medical expertise meets genuine human compassion. For over four decades, it has been my greatest honor to serve this community and lead a team that treats every patient like family.
While I have recently transitioned into the role of Non-Executive Chairman to focus on my health, my heart remains deeply embedded in the halls of this institution. I am incredibly proud of the foundation we have built together—one rooted in integrity, innovation, and unwavering clinical excellence.

Evolution is the heartbeat of medicine. To ensure Unity Hospital continues to set the standard for modern healthcare, I am pleased to introduce Sri. P K Vijayakumar IRS, Managing Director, who now leads our daily operations. I am also introducing Sri P P Faisal who is a major shareholder and an NRI Businessman with tremendous business experience in India and abroad also as MD to render guidance in important matters of governance.
This dual leadership structure combines decades of clinical wisdom with cutting-edge administrative strategy, ensuring that while our technology and facilities modernize, our "patient-first" philosophy remains unchanged.

It is a profound honor to give a message to the friends and well wishers of Unity Hospital on the occasion of launching of the new Website. Having served as a Director and shareholder of Unity Hospital for many years while managing my business interests abroad, I have always viewed Unity not just as an investment, but as a vital pillar of our community’s well-being.
Returning to lead this institution as MD is a responsibility I take with the utmost seriousness. My goal is to bridge the gap between global healthcare standards and the compassionate, personalized care that has been our hallmark since 1983.
Honoring Our Roots:
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to our Founder Chairman and MD Dr. R M Varma who left this world on 25 May 2026 and Dr. Regi another founder and MD who passed away on 29 June 2025. Their visionary leaderships over the last four decades built the very foundation upon which we stand. As they are no longer with us to guide in their roles of Chairman and MD, we remain committed to the core values of integrity and excellence that they instilled in this hospital from day one.

It is with great pride that we launch the new Unity Hospital website - a milestone that I believe will be a watershed in our hospital's history. This platform will help us serve our patients better, share our work with the community, and carry forward the values Unity has stood for since its inception in 1983 .
Remembering with Gratitude :
Over the past year, we had to bid eternal farewell to three pillars of our institution, Dr. R M Varma , Sri P P Hyder Haji , Dr. Verghese Job ( Dr. Regi) our founders. Their dedication, sincerity and compassion shaped Unity Hospital and touched countless lives. We are forever grateful to all of them for their service, and their legacy will continue to inspire every corridor of this hospital.
This past one year as Managing Director of Unity hospital has been deeply satisfying for me because of the trust, commitment, and tireless support of Team Unity.
Looking Ahead :
The launch of this website marks a new chapter. It also coincides with the opening of a state of the art 1.5 Tesla MRI centre and a highly equipped Super Speciality Block in recent months . All these reflect our commitment to transparency, accessibility, and excellence in healthcare for the public of this area.
